KAP

Selina offers short-term therapy with the use of Ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) as an adjunct to therapeutic work you’re already doing or are ready to embark upon. KAP can offer a deep dive into emotional material that has been difficult to access, create change in stuck patterns of thinking, and provide relief from symptoms of PTSD, depression, and anxiety. KAP can also be a great tool for individuals on a journey of personal exploration who are interested in exploring an altered state of consciousness in an intentional and supported way.

Our process involves preparation sessions to begin and integration (non-medicine) sessions following each KAP session. Further integration is highly recommended and I am happy to refer you to other counselors/psychotherapists to continue that work once we end.

Some more details…

You will need to work with a prescriber, generally a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, who will conduct a medical and psychological assessment before prescribing the Ketamine for use during your session. Selina can connect with a prescriber you currently work with or refer you to a prescriber that we collaborate with.

KAP sessions last from 2.5-3 hours and require that you do not drive afterward. Our offices are located in the foothills 15 minutes outside of Boulder. We collaborate with a local ride service in the case that you do not have someone to provide transportation for your appointments.

Preparation and integration sessions generally last 55 minutes with the option to schedule for 70 or 85 minutes.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is the only medicine-assisted psychotherapy we offer and we do not work with any illegal substances.
